Hacienda in restored status..

My Landlord Magaly and her Mother Dona Nydia gave me a tour of this amazing restoration to this enourmous restoration project of the Grand Plaza on the Hacienda. All the walls are hand painted by local artisans and the detail work is absolutely amazing. They even hava a statue of a saint from England in the little church in the corridor wing of this amazing building. Just unbelieveable how much work went into the process of rebuilding this 120 year old plantation. Really a treat to see this family Hacienda.

Beach House and Family Hacienda near Telchac Puerto!

These are a few pics of Magaly and Dona Nydias family Hacienda, or plantation for henniquen manufaturing. Henniquen is a natural fiber for making bailing wire and ships ropes. It is made from a cactus like plant and mechanically extracted to the white fibers you see here. OSHA would have a field day here, but hey, Its Mexico! No crybabies here. Just a beautiful hacianda and the main area has been fully restored. Those pics are up next.
