Finally detailed the interior of my car. Soap, water, and a great wet vacuum. Almost 99% of the previous stains are completely removed. Managed to fix a bunch of broken other items in the process. Tough interior color for a convertible. Now I leave it sealed with the hardtop on all the time. Small battles. Big victories.

Me and Chuck on the water enjoying the greatest part of the day. What a day.

This good kitty is Pants, which is a shorter version of Sassy Pants.

Foreground, Rachel, then Dillon and little Zippy on the bow. Go Lil Zip!

Chucks littlest girl, Sara..

This is almost postcardish Florida...

Inland waterways of Tampa Bay on sunday afternoon. About 75 degrees and nice. Awesome real estate. My kind of place to hang out.

View from the patio of Casa De Rhientgen looking to the water. Very cool setup.

Sir's 26 ft Wellcraft, the esteemed Vessel "Dick Dont Care", in memory of the great Maverick the cat. A.K.A. Dick!

Morning coffe with Sir! My longest friend Chuck now living on the water in Tampa Bay Fl., standing on the dock. Awesome house, killer boat, the nicest girlfriend, three awesome kids, and four great cats. Ill try to get them all published on the blog. Chilly in Tampa now, but warmer weather is abound.

Trailing Nascar trucks from Phoenix to Florida somewhere. Booooo inconsiderate home depot truck driver who likes to cut off Allied drivers. Maybe this asshole needs to get some track time instead of racing people on the highway. Jerk off!

Way better than the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.. SHow up with this truck to Bonaroo and you get backstage passes and beer with Radiohead.

Lake Charles Lousiana.. Nothing but Casino's and large women... Yuk!

Ahh! Clean!

This guy should be a little happier afterwards....

Ahhh! The sweet before.... Now for the first wash in a few months. Truck was just disgustingly dirty. Now with a little help from our good friend, chemicals and acids, and a little elbow grease from Pedro and Jose, this truck will shine.

How nice it must be to eat your toes. Me and my little niece Erin. One happy baby.

Philly, somewhere in Pennsylvania, and finally in Rogers park, Chicago.

Pretty decent trip. My last one to the east coast this year. Very expensive toll wise. Getting ready to go home to Phoenix in about 2 days. Cant wait to get away from Chicago. Nothing left for me here anymore. I want sunshine and poolside afternoons. Ill update my return soon.

A new system of information for the american trucker. Giant umbilicals hanging from racks bringing ac/heat, electricity, internet, cable and information all on a touch screen that mounts inside the window of the truck with relative ease. Wow has society come a long way since 20 years ago. Outside Harrisburg and heading for Jersey today. Upstate jersey on tuesday, Bayshore, Long Island on wednesday, then D.C. on thursday, to return to Chicago on friday. What a week! Cant wait to see Phoenix one of theese days.

From start to finish I ended up with freight to the rear doors and just enough room for my equipment. F-ing a cotton, F-ing a! Total tally. 32,480 pounds. New B man record but I will certainly beat this record's ass in the near future. About ready to get run over by storms in rural Indiana and the water tower just looked opaque in the backround against the coming storm. Also interesting is the rapid drop in fuel prices in Indianapolis. Must be an election soon Huh?

Before and after.... Such pretty little tiers of furniture stacking through the miracle of manpower. Very difficult day and it's not over yet!Still have 1/3rd of the truck to load on friday. Looking forward to having drinks in N.Y.C. after this one is finished.. Largest job of my career at 39,000 pounds and I think Im going to get it all on board. Tommorow will tell the truth. Now I rest and dream of kickin my own ass again tommorow.

Hundreds of millions of tons of freight moving in hundreds of thoudands of trucks every day.. This is just one portal of a very small hub in a city of distribution in a small suburb of parking spaces for all the weary to rest for the evening at the end of a very busy day in distribution and logistics. Only to get up early and fight traffic for another day of uncertain weather and traffic...

Some day's your just adrift in a sea of trucks. Occasionaly the smell of bacon, or diesel exhaust, or fresh cut grass will waft into the truck, reminding you of the life on the road. I guess there are sometimes I really enjoy the solitude of life on the road. As much as this job can wear on you, there are times you can actually recharge from it......

Just stuck in Indy and thanking the good government for developing technology in the satellite division and sharing it with Direct Tv....

Milwaukee trip to see the Brodes.... Very fun

Recent trip to Milwaukee was a beautiful one. Definitely one of the more beautiful cities in the midwest. Some pics of Brody's new bar the Up and Under. Very fun venue to see live music every night of the week except wednesday. Karaoke pollutes the airwaves on Wednesday. Great time though.
